Each game you run with OpZone is built using an independent game-rules engine that allows you to define the events and interactions that have impact and what they mean for the game-mode. Game modes define the win conditions, intel rules, player interactions and time-based events (zone shrinks, cache unlocks). The engine is deliberately data-driven so that new game modes can be modified and created by site owners.

Counter-Strike

A game made designed to allow Counter-Strike bomb placing style gameplay - Two teams with an attack / defend mindset - a Token ("The Bomb") is available for the attackers to pick-up; NFC-Style capture allows the Token to be swapped between players through proximity. Two or more Zones are created based on the site, where the attackers must place the Token.

Shrinking Zone

A PUBG-style shrinking ring session - Site operators create the ring and shrinking / location properties. Players are required to remain inside this zone, being eliminated if outside for a custom duration. As the game progresses, the zone shrinks and / or changes location to suit site topography.

The Tournament

A Hunger Games inspired session - A large group of players have to survive and eliminate each other, with the winner being the last person standing. Sponsors can join the fun through streaming platforms, allowing them to purchase tokens for players that can be used in-game to unlock OpZone Crates that can contain equipment, ammo etc.

OpZone is designed to work with a new class of hardware that is purpose-built for the platform. This includes NFC-style physical interaction devices, smart ammo and consumables, and other peripherals that allow players to interact with the game in ways that were previously impossible.
